Barrett Lumber Company's Privacy Officer ensures compliance of all 10 Principles included under the PIPEDA. The Privacy Officer will review and respond to any inquiries.

Information is gathered in the ordinary course of daily business, in order to facilitate transactions necessary to serve your needs, including your name, contact information, titles or positions and address, in order to address all queries for quotes, orders placed and shipped, billing and order changes. We are committed to maintaining your personal information in a secure fashion, maintaining its accuracy. Customer information will not be disposed of until it is determined it is no longer to our mutual benefit to retain. All information is subject to limited use, locked storage and documented on site shredding. Any information maintained on our computers with regard to your personal information is subject to limited access, passwords and firewalls.

Should we ever need to use your information we have gathered for purposes other than as set out, we will obtain your consent first.

Should you require credit with Barrett Lumber we would need more specific information including your bank, employer, and other credit supplier's history to verify your past credit performance.
